Fixit – Civic Reporting & Infrastructure Management Platform.
Welcome to Fixit (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a digital platform that enables citizens, local authorities, and institutions to report, track, and manage community infrastructure and environmental issues. By downloading, accessing, or using Fixit, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Eligibility
You must be:
- At least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your region.
- Legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
- Using the service in compliance with local, regional, and national laws.
2. User Accounts
To access the app features, you are required to create an account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Keep your login details secure
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Use of the Platform
Users may:
- Submit reports on civic or environmental issues
- Upload photos, videos, descriptions, and location data
- Track report statuses
- Communicate with other users and react to reports
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or duplicate reports
- Upload offensive, abusive, or unlawful content
- Interfere with the app’s functionality
- Attempt to hack, copy, reverse-engineer, or disrupt FIXIT systems
4. Local Authority & Institutional Admin Responsibilities
Admins using Fixit agree to:
- Review submitted reports promptly
- Update report statuses transparently
- Use collected data solely for service-improvement and public-interest purposes
- Not misuse or delete reports without valid cause
5. Content Ownership & License
You retain ownership of the content you upload.
By using Fixit, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:
- Store, display, process, and share your content with relevant authorities
- Use anonymized data for analytics, product research, and platform improvement
Fixit does not sell personal data.
6. Data Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Fixit processes data in line with:
- Ghana Data Protection Act
- GDPR (where applicable)
- Global privacy best practices

7. Location Data
Fixit may use:
- Precise geolocation (GPS)
- Approximate location (network/Wi-Fi)
This is required for accurate incident reporting and route visualization.
You can disable location services, but some app features may not work.
8. Service Availability
Fixit strives for 24/7 uptime, but we do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted availability
- Error-free operation
- Immediate resolution of issues
Maintenance, upgrades, and unforeseen outages may occur.
9. Third-Party Integrations
Fixit may integrate with:

10. Limitation of Liability
Fixit is not liable for:
- Decisions made by local authorities or institutions
- Delays in response or failed resolutions

Fixit provides a reporting and tracking platform, not a repair service.
11. Termination
We may suspend or end your access if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Abuse the platform
- Engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior
